1.) Bullet Type Camera or Outdoor Camera
A bullet CCTV camera is a wall-mount or ceiling-mounted unit that is typically designed for outdoor use, but can also use this indoor. The name of this camera derive from its shape and characteristics. Most of the bullet camera are weather proof. The camera is not designed for pan tilt or zoom it can only record in fix lens and location.

A dome cameras get their name from the dome-shaped housing. Typically it is used inside the building because it is not weather proof.

This camera can be also day or night capable depends on the specification.The Infrared helps the camera to view clear videos even at night.Camera without infrared is cheaper than with infrared.

3.) Wireless / IP Camera
Not all wireless cameras are IP-based. Some wireless cameras can use alternative modes of wireless transmission. This camera is usually used in highways to monitor traffic.
4.) PTZ/Speed Domes
Pan/tilt/zoom cameras give the surveillance operator the ability to move the camera left or right (pan); up and down (tilt); and zoom the lens closer or farther.
